Cicero Election District 9 occupies the northwestern portion of the Town of Cicero, immediately east of the Town of Clay.
Its western boundary generally follows the Cicero–Clay town line. From the northwestern corner, the district extends eastward and southeastward across the US Route 11/Brewerton Road and Interstate 81 corridors. Both US 11 and I-81 run roughly north–south through District 9, with US 11 lying west of I-81.
The northern and northeastern boundary forms a long diagonal line separating District 9 from Election District 10. On the eastern side, the boundary turns south and follows an irregular series of lines around the adjoining residential areas, separating District 9 primarily from Election Districts 26 and 18.
The southeastern boundary then angles southwest toward the NY Route 31 corridor. The southern boundary runs generally westward along the Route 31 area before returning to the Cicero–Clay town line.
In simple terms, District 9 is the large northwestern Cicero district that includes land on both sides of US 11 and I-81, extends from the Clay town line on the west to the residential districts east of I-81, and is bounded generally by Route 31 to the south and District 10 to the north.

Registering to vote
To register to vote in New York, you must be a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years old by Election Day, and a resident of New York and your county, city or village for at least 30 days before the election. New Yorkers may also pre-register at age 16 or 17.
